Singla comes with more than 25 years of experience. He had previously worked at companies such as UpGrad, Ecom Express, Rio Tinto, Yum! Restaurants, Whirlpool and Bharti Airtel.
In his new role at IndiaMart, Singla will handle all HR-related partnerships within the organisation, the company said.
According to IndiaMart, its platform connects about 8.1 million suppliers to around 202 million registered buyers nationwide. It features more than 113 million listed products and facilitates business transactions across diverse product categories and geographies.
Welcoming Singla to the organisation, IndiaMart chief operating officer Dinesh Gulati said being an organisation with more than 6,000 employees, it is important to innovate and foster an environment of excellence across its workforce across India.
