DeGeneres, a former talk show host, and de Rossi are reportedly selling their Montecito home, purchased in 2019. The property, located north of Los Angeles, served as their primary residence. It remains unclear if the couple intends to sell their other Southern California properties. Riskin Partners, the real estate firm managing the Montecito listing, has not commented on the sale.
DeGeneres’ recent Netflix comedy special, “Relatable,” addresses the criticism she faced in 2018 surrounding allegations of a toxic work environment on her talk show. In it, she acknowledges the public’s changed perception of her:

Since ending her talk show, DeGeneres has focused on activities like gardening and raising chickens. DeGeneres’ publicist confirmed she no longer represents the television personality following the conclusion of DeGeneres’ tour and comedy specials. DeGeneres has maintained a private life since her show ended, releasing the Netflix special documenting her experiences post-television. She has not announced any new projects.
