MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte described the insistence that the President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s life is under active threat as “ominous.”
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Duterte added that the administration sold its narrative based on her statement that she hired someone to kill Marcos, first Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez if she gets killed, which she described as “taken out of logical context.”
