MANILA, Philippines — Motorcycle taxis (MTs) in Central Luzon and CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) have been allowed to operate by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and are covered by the regulations issued by government agencies and the Motorcycle Taxi Technical Working Group (MC TWG).
LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III said this decision is a step toward fostering competition and improving commuter services.
