MANILA, Philippines — Colder nights and mornings will likely be experienced in the coming days as the northeast monsoon or “amihan” is expected to intensify, the state-run weather agency said on Friday.
At present, the weather system is affecting Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region where overcast skies with light rains would prevail, Nathaniel Servando, Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) chief, said.
