MANILA, Philippines — With the Angat Dam reaching its spilling level, excess water would likely be released in the coming days to avoid overflowing, the national weather bureau said on Friday.
As of 8 a.m., Jan. 3, the dam’s reservoir water level (RWL) was measured at 213.36 meters (m) against its normal high water level (NHWL) of 212 meters or a deviation of 1.36 m from its normal level.
