MANILA, Philippines — A week before the start of the campaign period for the 2025 midterm elections, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his confidence over the chances of the administration-backed candidates of winning all 12 senatorial seats in the upcoming polls.
In his speech during the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) Leaders’ Convergence Summit in Manila on Friday, Marcos said his own political party has the “best candidates” and the “strongest party” in the upcoming midterm elections.
