PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday said he was open to calling a special session of Congress to proceed with the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte should the Senate request it.
The statement from the Palace came after the Senate adjourned its sessions without tackling the impeachment complaint endorsed by the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
