This was the only statement issued by Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday after she was impeached by the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Duterte spoke with members of the media, two days after at least 215 members of the House signed the verified impeachment complaint that was transmitted to the Senate on the same day.
She, however, thanked her supporters who have stood by her.
