MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed Henry Rhoel Aguda as the new secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Malacañang said Thursday.
Aguda, former president and chief executive officer of UnionDigital Bank, replaced former DICT chief Ivan John Uy, who resigned from his post earlier this month.
