A low pressure area (LPA) has been spotted off Mindanao but is still unlikely to directly affect the country over the next few days, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.
Weather specialist Rhea Torres said that at about 3 a.m. the LPA was estimated at 645 kilometers east of southeastern Mindanao.
