MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte expressed confidence that she would win the impeachment trial against her.
In a chance interview with reporters in Danao City, Cebu on Tuesday, Duterte said that she spoke with her lawyers in the impeachment case immediately after she arrived from The Hague in the Netherlands to meet with prospective defense lawyers of her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte.
