MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies announced on Monday that gasoline prices will go up on Tuesday, August 19, but the cost of diesel and kerosene will go down due to recent geopolitical developments influencing the market.
Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel and Petrogazz said that they will raise gasoline prices by P0.60 per liter, and reduce diesel prices by P0.80 per liter.
Shell and Seaoil said kerosene prices will be lowered by P0.90 per liter.
Last week, oil companies reduced the prices of gasoline by P0.40 per liter, diesel by P1.50 per liter, and kerosene by P1.30 per liter.
