President Trump arrived on Monday in Israel, where a White House said he will meet with families of the hostages freed by Hamas and speak at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.
“The war is over,” Trump told reporters as he departed — even though his ceasefire deal leaves many unanswered questions about the future of Hamas and Gaza.
Vice President Vance said Trump was likely to meet with newly freed hostages.
