President Trump on Tuesday will welcome Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the White House, where they will likely discuss Israel’s war in Gaza, artificial intelligence and military ties.
He will also host the Middle East ally’s de facto leader for a black-tie dinner late Tuesday and join a business forum with him on Wednesday.
The House on Tuesday will take up a vote on legislation to release information related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after Trump, in a reversal, backed the push over the weekend.
This morning, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who led efforts to hold a vote, will speak to the press alongside victims of the disgraced financier. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who has drawn the ire of the president in recent days, will also join the duo for the 9 a.m. press conference.
Eyes on Capitol Hill, however, have begun to turn to Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.), who faces a tough call on when to put the measure on the floor.
