Dr. Udit Raj, a former Member of the Parliament, took to X and said that election trends in Maharashtra are the victory of EVMs.
The latest trends from Maharashtra, as per the Election Commission, show incumbent Mahayuti, which comprises of BJP, Shinde Sena and NCP (Ajit Pawar), has crossed the majority mark of 145 with more than 200 seats, while the Opposition, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has a lead on just 50 seats.
“As long as there are EVMs, elections cannot be fair. The election trends of Maharashtra clearly indicate that this is the victory of EVM,” Raj said in a post.
Earlier, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut expressed shock over the early trends and asked, “How can the MVA not win even 75 to 100 seats? Kuch toh gadbai hai, how can Eknath Shinde get 56 seats?”
