The dark nebula LDN 1251 in Cepheus — sometimes called the Rotten Fish Nebula — is a cold and dense cloud dotted by the occasional warm glow of forming stars within. The imager captured this region with a 14-inch scope at f/2 and 4 hours of exposure in RGB filters.
