Grennan, 30, confirmed on Friday(August 22) that he and his wife, Pilates instructor Danniella Carraturo, recently welcomed a daughter named Dottie. The couple, who married in May 2024 in Majorca, kept the birth private for several months before sharing the news publicly.
The announcement came as Grennan’s latest record, Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be, reached the top of the UK Albums Chart on August 22. Released on August 15, the album is Grennan’s fourth studio project and follows the chart-topping successes of Evering Road (2021) and What Ifs & Maybes (2023).
In a message to fans on Instagram, Grennan wrote: “From the kid who never thought he’d make it, to three consecutive number one albums, joining an esteemed club to do so with the likes of The Beatles & Oasis, words will never be enough for the gratitude I feel. To now be stepping into fatherhood at the same time is the greatest gift I could ever imagine. Music gave me purpose, but being a dad gives me everything.”
The 15-track album includes singles “Higher,” “Shadowboxing,” and “Boys Don’t Cry.” Critics have described it as an energetic and uplifting project, with Hot Press rating it 8/10 and Buzz calling it a “feel-good summer soundtrack.”
Grennan is preparing to launch his biggest UK arena tour to date, beginning in Bournemouth on September 3.
