Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the security cabinet on August 24, following the Israeli Air Force attack in Sanaa, Yemen. The strikes came in retaliation for Houthi missiles fired towards Israel. The Israeli military said the targets included a military compound housing the presidential palace, two power plants and a fuel storage site. The Houthi-controlled Saba news agency said the strikes killed at least two people and injured five. “Whoever attacks us, we attack them. Whoever plans to attack us, we attack them. I believe the entire region is learning about the strength and determination of the State of Israel.” said Netanyahu.
