MANILA, Philippines — Actor Anthony Jennings, who is at the center of cheating allegations involving his screen partner and ex-girlfriend, apologized to the two women late Friday.
In a video released by his home station ABS-CBN, Jennings, speaking in Filipino, said he was sorry to all the people he had hurt, “especially Maris [Racal] and Jam [Villanueva], and to everyone who was drawn into the conflict.” He did not elaborate.
The 24-year-old actor’s statement came hours after Racal, released her version of the story, claiming she was unaware that he was still in a relationship when they started to share a deeper connection outside of their love team.
In a series of Instagram Stories late Tuesday night, Villanueva shared screenshots of the two celebrities’ seemingly intimate conversations, which happened allegedly while she and Jennings were still together.
Earlier on Friday, Racal issued her own apology to Villanueva.
Before being linked to Jennings, Racal was in a five-year relationship with singer Rico Blanco.
