Visitors at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., will soon get a double dose of President-elect Trump, as the museum installs a second photograph of him ahead of the inauguration.Â
The 2019 snapshot of Trump by photographer Pari Dukovic, on assignment for Time magazine, shows the then-commander in chief sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office. The photograph will be on display starting Jan. 13 — a week before the inauguration — through Feb. 11.
Another photograph of Trump, taken by Matt McClain for The Washington Post in 2017, is already part of the National Portrait Gallery’s “America’s Presidents” exhibit.
An official commissioned portrait of Trump is expected to debut at the art museum following his final term in office.
Portraits of former President Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama were unveiled to much fanfare at the Smithsonian in 2018.Â
