ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 296.90/297.10 to the US dollar in the spot market Monday, weaker from Friday’s close of 296.40/60 dealers said, while bond yields were up.
The central bank will announce its monetary policy review on Wednesday, January 29 at 7.30 am, it said.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 9.20/30 percent, up from 9.10/25 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.05.2027 closed at 9.65/75 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.10.2027 closed at 9.70/85 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 was quoted at 10.15/20 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed stable at 10.32/40 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 closed stable at 10.75/83 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.10.2030 closed at 11.25/33 percent, up from 11.20/30 percent.
