The Union Budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on February 1, 2025, by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Budget session will take place in two parts: the first part runs from January 31 to February 13, 2025, and the second part will begin on March 10, concluding on April 4, 2025. The session commenced began with President Droupadi Murmu’s address on Friday.

Economic Survey was also tabled by the Finance Minister on Friday.

Budget 2025 Speech Date and Time

Sitharaman will deliver the Budget speech in the Lok Sabha on February 1 at 11am . During her speech, she will outline budgetary allocations and revenue expectations for the coming year. Afterward, the Budget documents will be presented in the Rajya Sabha.
