Doctors at a hospital in Bukavu, in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo’s South Kivu region, have been dealing with a surge in the number of patients with gunshot wounds and fractures following the Rwanda-backed M23 rebel group’s capture of the city.
The UN has also accused the M23 group of summarily executing children after it captured the city of Bukavu
