P.E.I. Premier Dennis King set to make ‘important announcement’ Thursday afternoon

Prince Edward Island Premier Dennis King is holding a news conference in Charlottetown at 3:15 p.m. AT that will feature an “important announcement,” his office said Thursday. 

King will be making the announcement at the provincial government’s Shaw Building, and will hold a media availability afterwards, according to a news release.

The Progressive Conservative politician, who’s 53 years old, has been the province’s premier since 2019.
