Scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will affect Palawan and the Visayas due to the shear line prevailing over the area, while the northwest monsoon (amihan) is affecting the rest of Luzon, state weather bureau Pagasa said early Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, Pagasa said that areas under the influence of the weather systems will have cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
