An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 struck about 6 miles east of Orcas Island early Monday, according to the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program.
According to the USGS, the quake occurred at 5:02 a.m.
No tsunami warning, advisory, watch or threat was triggered, according to the U.S. Tsunami Warning System.
