Asobo Studio has just announced that the excellent A Plague Tale: Innocence will be getting a remaster on July 6, 2021, which we expect to come to PS5 with a host of upgrade for players.
Just announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, Extended version, the game is a complete remaster of the original title. While it hasn’t been officially announced for PS5 yet, we expect the game to hit the system on the same day. The game will have a 4K resolution, with visual enhancements and 60 FPS gameplay.
On top of this, Asobo recently announced A Plague Tale: Requiem, a sequel, set to release for PS5 in 2022. This sequel was only originally announced for Xbox Series S/X, but was announced for PS5 just a few hours later. So, we expect the same to happen here.

A Plague Tale: Innocence originally released for PS4 back in 2019 and was met with positive critical review and commercial success. We loved the game awarding it an incredibly strong 9 out of 10. In July 2020 it was announced that the game had sold more than 1 million copies.
