The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has announced its new partnership with Datamaran, the world’s only software analytics company which identifies and monitors external risk.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between ACCA and Datamaran.
As part of their agreement, both organisations will work together on key projects, Datamaran will share insights with ACCA’s members and stakeholders, and the analytics platform will provide technology to assist the trade association in its e-learning efforts.
Mike Suffield, director of Professional Insights at ACCA says: “We have come to know the great work of Datamaran through collaboration over the last two years.
“Our MOU formalises our working relationship with the aim of helping our members, students and other stakeholders better understand the sustainability agenda and associated risk management issues.”
Marjella Alma, CEO and co-founder of Datamaran, said: “The accountancy profession has a key role to play in understanding, monitoring and acting on external risks such as climate change and so our work with ACCA will have this as a key focus for 2021 when COP26 will take place. We look forward to delivering on our MOU.”
