Adele has had a swipe at her ex husband for being lazy on her latest album.
The singing sensation has released her first music in six years and bravely lays bare secrets from her private life on the album titled 30.
The 33-year-old divorced Simon Konecki in 2019 but has kept most details of their split under wraps – until now.
While she is known for pouring her heart into her records with a rawness that is remarkably relatable, her latest offering is surprising even by her own standards.
She touches on the deepest and darkest moments from the pair’s relationship before listeners hear Adele blast Simon for being “lazy” and unappreciative of her.
The lyrics to track nine on the album, Woman Like Me, hears the songstress belt out the words: “Complacency is the worst trait to have, are you crazy?
“It is so sad a man like you could be so lazy.”

In other lyrics she blasts: “All you do is complain about decisions you make / How can I help lift you if you refuse to activate?”
She went on to end the track by clarifying the relationship could never get back on track as she sang: “Now some other man will get the love I have for you / ’Cos you don’t care.”
In her interview with Oprah which aired on Sunday night, the singer revealed that she remains close friends with Simon and they live opposite each other. However, she admitted that the pair are yet to discuss the album or its contents.
She said: “He knows what kind of artist I am,” and shrugged before adding he and son Angelo, nine, were “angels” sent to her.
Elsewhere on the album, Adele appears to have dropped a song which is sure to be at the top of many karaoke request lists in years to come.
Track seven, I Drink Wine, discusses the initial stages of her and Simon’s split.
“I hope I learn to get over myself, stop trying to be somebody else,” she sings, with the confidence that comes from a few glasses of red.

“I don’t know anybody who’s truly satisfied,” she opines, bleakly.
And back to Oprah, Adele opened up about her newfound romance with Rich Paul.
She told the presenter how their relationship is “the first time I’ve loved myself and been open to loving and being loved by someone else.”
She went on to say that timing plays a big part in it and the fact that she’s so secure in herself now.
She added: “It’s just timing. But it’d be interesting to see what my reaction is like in general to anything that hurts me now that I feel so secure in myself, and I’m talking outside of romance as well.”
