In the footage, baby monkey Ban Jin is seen trying to mount his pal named ‘September,’ the three-month-year old tiger cub’s back.
Once he get on after an initial struggle, the pair seem in perfect harmony as they stroll around the enclosure, which zookeepers allow them to do at times.
The duo built a bond as they were born around the same time and raised together, one zookepeer revealed.
In an interview with the MailOnline, a park manager Ms Dai said: “At first, Ban Jin was quite afraid [of the tiger].
“But they quickly became familiar with each other and are now best friends. We would let them play together sometimes.”
The zoo shared the cute clip of the pair on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok where it quickly amassed over 200,000 views.
