Aldi launches 10 flavours of hot cross buns – from salted caramel to chilli and cheese
Supermarket Aldi has finally launched its Easter food and drink collection ahead of the festivities.
And, with the world beginning to open up after lockdown it’s time to start planning your celebration.
And, while you might be shopping around for a roast dinner there’s one part of Easter which we’re all looking forward to – hot cross buns!
Aldi is selling a whole bunch of the tasty baked goods for families to enjoy.
And, the supermarket has topped their usual offerings by releasing a range of 10 different flavours of hot cross bun.
The selection starts from just 59p for a pack of four.
Starting off with the dream for sweet toothed Brits, the Specially Selected Salted Caramel and Belgian Chocolate (£1.09 for a pack of four) contain chunks of Belgian dark chocolate, swirls of salted caramel and nuggets of toffee fudge pieces.
Then, there’s the Specially Selected Raspberry and Belgian White Chocolate (£1.09 for a pack of four) buns with chunks of white chocolate, raspberries and dried cranberries.
Berry fans can also try the Triple Berry Hot Cross Bun (£1.09 for a pack of four) made with succulent cranberries, lingonberries, blueberries and sultanas.
Or if you’re looking for something a bit more unusual there’s a honeycomb variety and a chilli and cheese option.
Plus, we’re excited for the Specially Selected Rhubarb and Custard (£1.09 for a pack of four) bun which is infused with white chocolate chips and candied dried rhubarb.
And, for just 99p you can enjoy a brambly apple bun or a Brioche based bun.

Plus, you can get four Village Bakery Fruited Hot Cross Buns which are hefty with sultanas for 79p.
