And on Tuesday, Alicia Silverstone shared a video to social media in which she’s posing with a black and white Friesian cow.

‘When I made the choice [to give up eating animals] everything in my life changed….. I started feeling good about myself,’ she said in an interview with Chicago Today (pictured 2020)

Speaking in a recent interview on Chicago Today, she said her vegan journey sort of happened by accident.

‘I was an animal lover and was sort of trying to be vegetarian but not really,’ she explained.

‘When I made the choice [to give up eating animals] everything in my life changed. I ditched my asthma inhaler. I stopped getting allergy shots. My skin started glowing. I started feeling good about myself,’ she said.

Her son has been raised on a plant-based diet and in a December interview with Entertainment Tonight, she gushed about how Bear is ‘such an example of health’.

‘To never have needed antibiotics in nine years and to never have needed any kind of medical intervention… Most kids have so many ear infections, they’re taking medicine all the time,’ she stated.
