Wondering what is going on with Mackenzie McKee and Cheyenne Floyd’s continuous crazy Teen Mom drama?
Explore the reality TV stars’ problematic relationship in the past as we delve into the drama surrounding controversy between the two members of the OG cast.
Mackenzie McKee slammed by Cheyenne for racist comment
Back in January 2021, Teen Mom OG star Cheyenne Floyd claimed that it was time to educate after her co-star Mackenzie McKee was slammed for making a racist comment about Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Sun reported that 26-year-old McKee took to Facebook to share her disappointment that the Vice President was making history compared to various other POC, referring to her as a “coloured” woman.
While Teen Mom viewers slammed Mackenzie for the comment, her co-star Cheyenne used her social media platform to acknowledge the comment by encouraging her followers to “educate.”
After receiving tons of backlash from fans, Mackenzie later apologised for the comments and assured supporters that she will learn, grow and do better.
Months after the controversial matter, Mackenzie then did a live stream online to address the drama, claiming that Floyd had completely lost contact with her following the racial slur, according to The Sun.
Update on the Teen Mom drama
Since Cheyenne did not officially address the matter at the time, supporters now continue to wonder why she is no longer friends with Mackenzie, amidst the new Teen Mom OG series.
Despite initially keeping her open opinion private, Cheyenne has now taken to social media to explain her side of the drama.
In a collection of Instagram stories, @cheynotshy explained that she refuses to forgive or forget the controversial things Mackenzie had said, claiming that more ignorant comments have taken place off-screen.
While McKee claimed she constantly tried to make it up to her co-star, Cheyenne stated that Mackenzie was reportedly upset for even having to apologise or mention the situation.
@cheynotshy finalised her lengthy explanation with the statement:
“This angry black woman would like to be left alone now. Thank you.”

Supporters debate the drama online
After Cheyenne shared a photograph online posing alongside other cast members of Teen Mom, some supporters expressed confusion for Mackenzie’s absence while others communicated their disregard.
A Teen Mom fan named @_kjoyy revealed in a comment that they have all their love for Mackenzie instead.
When Floyd used Twitter to gather viewers thoughts of the latest Teen Mom epsiode, another supporter responded by questioning her actions towards Mackenzie on the show.
However, Cheyenne’s supporters simply claim that she should not have to accept McKee into her circle if she doesn’t want to.
