Today show’s Ally Langdon has been hospitalised after injuring herself ‘badly’ while hydrofoiling during a pre-recorded segment for the breakfast program on Queensland’s Gold Coast on Thursday.
Karl Stefanovic confirmed that his 41-year-old co-host was in hospital on Friday, when Ally was noticeably missing from the panel.
The mother-of-two hurt her leg during the accident.

‘She had a bit of an accident yesterday, she’s doing fine. She hurt herself really badly,’ Karl told fill-in co-host Leila McKinnon on Friday.
‘She’s in hospital this morning. She’s OK.’
During Karl’s update with viewers, dramatic footage aired of Ally being pulled from the water after the incident.
Hydrofoiling, also known as foil surfing, is a relatively new water sport.
The foil is attached to the bottom of a surfboard and features a wing-like design that helps lift the rider above the water.
Balance is key on the board, with riders having to place more of their weight on their back leg.

‘She messaged me this morning at 3am asking how I liked the alarm, so she still has the same great spirit, but yeah doing it a bit tough. But she is a tough one,’ she said.
Karl added: ‘We love you Ally, we know you will be watching this morning or sleeping in.’
He said the Today show would be checking in on his co-host later during the program.
