Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter is serious about her studies – and isn’t interested in modelling, her dad has shared.
Iconic model Anna died in 2007 when daughter Dannielynn, who she shared with Larry Birkhead, was just five months old.
Now 14, Dannielynn is the spitting image of her famous mum – but modelling isn’t her cup of tea.
Dad Larry says the high school freshman has got her eyes on her future and is dedicated to her schoolwork.
He told TMZ that she doesn’t have a manager or modelling portfolio, and that the offers from movie producers and major corporations for films and ads are largely like water off a duck’s back.
Instead, she’s focused on her homework, and loves art, animation and drawing.
That being said, Larry says she’s not closed the door on the spotlight entirely – and if a role came up in The Mandalorian or Stranger Things she’d be there at the drop of a hat.
Mum Anna died from an accidental prescription medication overdose 14 years ago.
Dannielynn and Larry recently appeared in a US 20/20 TV special, Tragic Beauty, during which the teenager learned more about her late mum.
The show saw them travel to Mexia, Texas, where Anna grew up before her modelling career saw her catapulted to international fame.
“They meet her high school friend and see the places she frequented before becoming famous,” the show’s description explained.
“Dannielynn sees for the first time some of Anna Nicole’s memorabilia from her life and career, tucked away in a storage locker following her death.”
And proud dad Larry tells the camera: “Dannielynn’s a teenager now, and she doesn’t really know a ton of things about her mum.
“As a dad who has a child whose mum has passed away, I thought, ‘Why not go back to Anna’s beginnings?’ To be really honest, I didn’t know a whole lot about Anna, you know, her early years.”
They also visit a friend of Anna’s, who hugs Dannielynn and notes: “You are your mommy. You look just like her.”
Larry previously told E! News that he’s “just so proud” of his daughter.
“She reminds me so much of her mum and as she gets older, and her features are changing,” he said.
“It’s just like having a little miniature Anna Nicole running around in so many ways.”
