The annual Victoria Livestock Show will have it’s auction on Monday February 28
VICTORIA, Texas -The Victoria Livestock Show has been going on throughout February with the auction coming up Monday, February 28.
This year’s livestock show featured a lineup of various animals from swine, chickens, rabbits, and goats with them all being judged these past few days.
Emma Meyer entered her goats for the first time this year and both of them ended up taking home first place. Despite the cold temperatures at this year’s livestock show, it hasn’t stopped the fun.
“It’s been really fun, it’s been a little cold but other than that it’s been really fun. The thing that probably got our goats first place is probably their personalities, they’re a little on the goofy side but they’re really sweet and look really nice,” says Emma Meyer.
Along with the livestock show, there is the carnival with plenty of rides and games. There is also a vendor hall along with numerous food options as we approach the final days of this year’s livestock show.
Although this year’s livestock show is coming to a close you still have a few days to check it out if you want to, with the auction scheduled for this coming Monday. Agest 5 and under and 65 and older get it free and is located at the Victoria Community Center which is at 2905 E North Street.
