Rapper Archie Eversole, who is best known for his hit song ‘We Ready’ has died at the age of 37.
The music star passed away on Sunday, April 3, according to TMZ.
His cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Sources close to his family confirmed Eversole’s death to Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9.
The rapper kickstarted his career at the tender age of 17 when he recorded his first album, ‘Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style.’
Proving that he had a natural talent for songwriting, the album went gold.
Archie’s debut album became hugely popular, thanks to the inclusion of his hit track ‘We Ready’ which also featured Bubba Sparxxx.
The unforgettable tune quickly became one of the most popular anthems at football games and many other sporting events.
The rapper’s song was so popular that the NFL even used it in an advert.
Eversole was then chosen to create the theme song United We Conquer in 2018 for the Atlanta United team of the Major League Soccer.
Tributes have poured in for the rapper on social media following his untimely death.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to gush over the late music star.
“The man who gave us ‘We Ready, the greatest Game Day anthem ever, has passed away at 37 years old. Rest In Peace Archie Eversole. Prayers up to his family and loved ones,” he penned.
Atlanta United fans also paid tribute to Eversole as they shared posts of the rapper interacting with fans of the soccer team.
