I’m in contract for a house. The seller is being a hassle. We negotiated that all attached shelving is included in the house. We are in contract.
Now the seller’s agent wrote our agent that they want to take some of the shelving that’s in the house — which happens to be some of the nicer wood shelving in the dining room.
So, what counts as attached?
This is the type of shelving where vertical bars are screwed to the wall and then the shelves “hang” onto the bars. Like this.
Seller has no recourse, right?
They have consistently nitpicked on all of the “included items,” right down to excluding bidet toilet seats from the sale.
