Nick Cannon and Lil Kim have sparked dating rumours after the latter appeared on The Nick Cannon Show and shared a string of pictures on Instagram.
Fans have been sent into a frenzy after coming across some loved-up pictures of the two rappers on social media but are they actually together?
Here’s the actual truth behind those viral social media snaps.
Are Lil Kim and Nick Cannon dating?
Lil Kim and Nick Cannon’s fans have gone crazy over the idea that the two could be an item in real life.
The ‘Lady Marmalade’ singer appeared on The Nick Cannon Show this week and shared a string of pictures from her appearance, including a cosy behind-the-scenes snap.
The two further fuelled dating rumours after they posted a picture of an XXXL magazine cover on Instagram which shows them as “hip hop’s new power couple.”
But before you jump to any conclusions, Nick and Lil Kim are not dating – the magazine cover is to promote a new VH1 project in which they both take part in.
If you pay closer attention to the cover, there is no such magazine as XXXL and the cover clearly states the names of their characters, not Nick and Lil Kim’s names.
What is the movie they are starring in?
Nick Cannon and Lil Kim are starring in the VH1 Christmas movie Miracles Across 125th Street.
The comedian and actor is the creative mind behind the project as he has written, produced and directed the holiday-themed movie for the network.
The Christmas special sees Nick’s character as a Harlem rapper who returns to his family church for the holidays to confront his past.
Other cast members include Teyana Taylor, Chrisette Michele, Akon, Jim Jones, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, Tommy Davidson, Bruce Bruce, among others.
You can take a look at the trailer down below. The movie premieres on VH1 on December 20th at 9 pm ET/PT.
