Merck says its HPV vaccine for men was approved by China’s drug regulator

U.S. drugmaker Merck & Co said on Wednesday (January 8, 2025) that its human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for men has been approved by China’s medical products administration.

The vaccine has been cleared to be used for males aged 9-26 years, according to Merck’s statement on Chinese social media.
