AN EAGLE-EYED Asda shopper noticed an awkward spelling mistake written on a Peter Pan-themed teapot.
The £12 teapot, which features a silhouette of Tinkerbell, had the words “Sprinkle a little fairy dust” written on the side.
However, on closer inspection, the text actually read “Litlle”, and had a double “L” instead of a the double “T” in the middle.
The Asda teapot was shared on the Instagram page @ifinddisney, and the shopper was quick to point out the error.
They wrote: “Oh my goodness. There’s a spelling mistake!!!”
The original poster had already spotted the error, and wrote: “I’ve been waiting for someone to spot it.”
Not only is the teapot mistake on Instagram, but is also visible on the Asda website.
The product description reads: “Create an afternoon tea setting fit for a princess with this Tinkerbell footed teapot from George Home.
“Designed in white with gold-effect detailing and charming ‘sprinkle a little fairy dust’ lettering, it’s a beautiful treat for a Disney fan.”
Also in the Disney range at Asda are Tinkerbell teacups and a pair of Lady and the Tramp mugs for Valentine’s Day.
