Britain has been in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic for many months – and for most of that time bars and pubs have been closed.
Which means that instead of spending our weekends out with friends or at clubs we’ve had to make our own entertainment at home.
Whether that’s dancing to music with some prosecco or cuddling up with a film and a takeaway, reports MEN.
But, most of our booze now comes from the supermarket which doesn’t quite compare to a delicious cocktail even if it does save us some dosh.
Well, thanks to Asda we can now take a trip down memory lane with the latest alcoholic beverage to hit the shelves.
The supermarket giant is now stocking Sourz in a brand new strawberry flavour – so drinkers can relive their clubbing days with a fun twist.
The launch was shared on the Money Saver Online Facebook group, which read: “Who’d love this Strawberry flavour from ASDA?!”
The post has since racked up over 3000 comments with many hoping to create tasty cocktails with it at home.
One person said: “Tried this last week it’s really nice and a bargain at £7.50 in my Bury store.”
“Game changer,” commented another.
A third added: “Had this at the weekend, its very sweet and lovely.
“My favourite is still the cherry one though.”
“Umm I’m sorry but where was this when we were mixing sours with lemonade,” joked a fan.
While a nostalgic Brit said: “Ohhhh we would of loved this back in the day, remember the cherry coke, this would of been good with lemonade.
“Miss the days of furry teeth from Sourz.”
So, get your LED lights on, some music blasting and enjoy this tasty bev while you dance around like its 2019.
