Austin Butler gave his first look as Elvis Presleyin Baz Luhrmann’s highly-anticipated musical drama, chronicling the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s rise to stardom, in new trailer alongside Tom Hanks as his larger-than-life manager.
While the 30-year-old Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood star proved to be a dead ringer for the Burning Love hitmaker while performing some of the late legend’s iconic dance moves, Hanks, 65, narrated the preview.
‘There are some who make me out to be the villain of this here story,’ the Oscar-winning actor, who portrays talent manager Colonel Tom Parker, ominously said as he spots his future client performing to a packed crowd.

Speaking to a young Presley, Parker approaches the icon-to-be with an offer to ‘promote’ him, if he’s ‘ready to fly.’
‘I’m ready, ready to fly.’ Presley responds, before flashing to the future of the intense press attention he faced for his promiscuous dance moves in the Fifties.

‘I’m not going to make Austin anything,’ he said when asked if the film would turn him into a mega star.
‘Austin is going to make himself a superstar, he is phenomenal in the movie.’
