A beauty fan has shared her secret to plumped up lips which people say is “better than fillers”.

Whether you’re all about your Juvederm or can’t stand needles we’ve all toyed with the idea of altering our appearance.

Especially after spending all year on Zoom staring at our “lockdown face”.

But, not everyone is willing to take the plunge and pay for expensive fillers.

Luckily, one young woman has explained that you don’t have to because a £2.99 oil is the secret behind her pillowy lips.

Last month, TikTok creator Brittany Miller, shared her “favourite lip plumping hack” with her thousands of followers – and they went wild for it.

Brittany explained that she adds a few drops of cinnamon oil into a £3.95 lip gloss by Vaseline.

You can pick the Vaseline With Love x Glossy Shot up for £3.95 (down from £5.99) at Superdrug.

After thoroughly mixing the oil with the gloss, Brittany applied the concoction to her lips – with astounding results.

Brittany said: “This doesn’t burn or sting or anything.

“Let the cinnamon oil do its thing for a few minutes.”

She then zoomed in on her shiny, plumped lips and added: “OK, wow!”

But, how does this odd beauty hack really work?

The Sun reports that cinnamon has been proven to stimulate circulation due to compounds within the spice which cause blood to rush to the surface of the skin.

But, make sure to do a patch test before trying the hack yourself as you don’t want to risk an allergic reaction.

Brittany’s video has racked up almost half a million likes – and commenters are obsessed with the hack.

One person said: “”Since we can’t get our lips done, we should do this!”

“Never mind my fillers,” added another. “I’m getting cinnamon oil!”
