There’s a new housewife in Greenwich! Reality TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel has bought a classic Colonial in Connecticut for just $2.12 million via a trust, according to property records.
The five-bedroom, four-and-a half-bathroom home on Pecksland Road was originally asking $2.85 million back in 2018.
The trustee listed for the purchase of the former star of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York‘s” new home is Matt Klarberg, managing director of Monarch Business and wealth management, who counts Frankel as his client, according to Variety.
The 4,698-square-foot spread features a red door and white picket fence. Built in 1945, the home sits on 2.1 acres.
Inside, it boasts a grand foyer, an open living room and family room that both come with cozy fireplaces. French doors lead to a stone terrace, yard and pool. There’s also an eat-in chef’s kitchen, a dining room with custom cabinetry, a wine cellar, and a master suite with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a sitting room and a private deck.
The current decor is rather traditional. However, we hear, Frankel is planning to glam it up with some modern touches. The Greenwich home’s listing broker, Maria Crowley of Houlihan Lawrence, declined to comment.
