A bikini model falsely accused of skipping the queue for a coronavirus vaccine says her followers wished her dead after she announced her injection online.
Liziane Gutierrez, who shot to notoriety in 2016 after suing rapper Chris Brown, got a leftover Pfizer jab when she attended a Las Vegas vaccination hub at closing time on Saturday.
But when she announced the news to her 500,000 Instagram followers, the torrent of abuse that followed was so intense she felt she had no choice but to deactivate comments.
The Brazilian-born model said: “People started being like ‘oh, you’re so selfish, you jumped in front of the line.’

“Then people were going to my mum’s Instagram and saying ‘your daughter gotta go back to Brazil, I hope she dies.’
“Some people were even saying ‘oh my grandma didn’t have the chance to take the vaccine.’
“I mean it’s not my fault. I didn’t jump in front of the line.”
When Liziane had a bad reaction to the vaccine, feeling nauseous and feverish, and eventually seeking hospital treatment, the hate only intensified.
She said: “I just posted one story saying I’m not feeling well but I’m going to talk to you guys soon.
“And then I received a lot of direct messages saying ‘oh this is karma, I hope you die, and I’m feeling happy because you’re feeling this way.’

“I was feeling weak, I was feeling sick and then I have to open up my Instagram and see all this, it just makes things worse.”
Ms Gutierrez, who gave her age as 34, says that in her adoptive hometown of Las Vegas, vaccines that would otherwise expire are freely administered.
She said: “You can just wait until the end of the day and ask ‘do you guys have any leftover?’ And then if they do, you can take it.
“It doesn’t matter your age, it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not, and that’s what I did.
“I was not doing anything wrong.”

Liziane is no stranger to controversy, flouting a US travel ban to visit North Korea in 2019, where she risked arrest by stealing a soldier’s hat and having a naked photoshoot in her room.
But the swimsuit model insists she hadn’t intended to upset anybody on this occasion.
“I think people should think more before they hate someone for no reason,” she said.
“It’s not been easy for anyone. We worry because a lot of people are losing their jobs here.
“I invest in properties. I have some property that I rent and that’s how I live – that’s how I pay my bills – and some of the people that rent my properties cannot pay right now.

“Everybody has been affected, some people more, some people not that much, but everyone that I know has been affected because of the pandemic.”
Ms Gutierrez made headlines around the world when she sued rapper Chris Brown in 2016 over an alleged altercation in Las Vegas.
She was said to have received around $70,000 (£50,000) in compensation after claiming a member of Brown’s entourage assaulted her at a luxury party hosted by the musician.
