Billie Eilish has been confirmed to headline Glastonbury Festival 2021.
The Bad Guy singer, 19, will play the famous Pyramid Stage on the Friday night of the festival on June 24 next year.
She had appeared to break the news herself in a post she shared to her Instagram Stories on Sunday night.
Billie wore a Glastonbury hoodie and beamed for the camera as she captioned the image “2022”.
The news was then confirmed by Glastonbury’s co-organiser Emily Eavis, who said: “We could’’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history.

“This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!”
Fans had speculated that Billie would be headlining Glastonbury as she is on tour at that time.
Her Happier Than Ever tour of Europe in 2022 has a gap in the schedule on Glastonbury’s Friday night.
She will also play London’s O2 Arena on June 25 and 26.

Billie performed at the festival in 2019 on The Other Stage, and will be bumped up to Glastonbury’s main stage next year.
During her first performance, she said: “It’’ like the whole world is looking at me right now.”
Glastonbury Festival was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Though restrictions were lifted by June this year, the festival did not go ahead as organisers didn’t have enough time to arrange it.

Tickets for the 2022 are sold out as those who got them for the 2020 cancelled event can use them next year.
Aerosmith are expected to be another of the headliners after being confirmed for the 2020 festival.
Elton John has also been rumoured to be performing in 2022, with a similar gap in the schedule of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Queens Of The Stone Age are one of the names tipped to headline The Other Stage.
It is also hoped that Diana Ross will return to fill the Sunday afternoon legends slot that she was confirmed for in 2020.
Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift were due to headline the 2020 event before it was cancelled.
