Crypto analysts say Bitcoin is particularly exposed to a BOJ rate hike because of its strong link to global liquidity. In past episodes of Japanese policy tightening, Bitcoin has suffered sharp drawdowns ranging from roughly 20% to 30% within weeks.
With Bitcoin recently trading near the $85,000–$90,000 zone, a similar move could push prices toward the $65,000–$70,000 range, according to multiple market forecasts.
