Rising Australian boxing star Brock Jarvis looks to take another step towards a world title fight when he fights tough Kiwi southpaw Nort Beauchamp tonight.
Jarvis (18-0, 16KO) is currently the IBF’s sixth-ranked super featherweight and within one or two wins of a title fight, with Bob Arum even suggesting he could next face the winner of either WBO featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete or Chris Diaz who meet this weekend.

Jarvis is trained by Jeff Fenech and the Aussie boxing iconic last month revealed plans to relocate the rising fight to the US.
“It’s the best sparring in the world – the best of everything. We’ll set up camp in the United States and go from there” Fenech said.“We went there, had some sessions and Brock sparred amazingly.
“It’s tough work there. You’re waking up, training, sparring, you’re in a war every day. But that’s Brock’s life at the moment and that’s how he knows he’s going to become a world champion.”
But first Jarvis must deal with Beauchamp (18-3) in Canberra and plenty will be watching with interest after his ‘performance of the year’ in knocking out Mark Schleibs in December.
The undercard features the polarising Issac Hardman against Mark Lucas, a heavyweight brawl between ‘Django’ Opelu and Arsene Fosso and a fight for the Australian Super Featherweight title between Ben Dencio and TC Priestly.
